New Products: Raw Milk Cheese and Gluten Free Macaroons

We are excited to offer two great farmstead cheeses, made with organic raw milk from grass-fed cows. The Robinsons launched their cheese business is 2010, after many years stewarding their land and selling raw milk, grass fed beef, organic eggs, vegetables and flowers.

Raw milk cheese from pasture fed cows contains beneficial bacteria (probiotics), and higher levels of vitamins, proteins and CLA, an omega-6 fatty acid thought to contain anticancer benefits.

Available for sale starting next week will have 8 oz. wedges of Tekenink Tomme and Barndance cheese. Tekenink Tomme is an old-world cheese, rustic, simple, slightly saline with a delicious flavor. Barndance is similar to the French Abondance; firm, buttery, subtle, fruity and nutty, an excellent melting cheese.

Gluten Free Macaroons
These delicious, wholesome, gluten free macaroons are made by the Paradise Baking Group in Northampton, using nuts ground only minutes before baking. Shaped and packed by hand, in biodegradable cellophane, they are made to order and shipped the day they are baked.

They are sold in packages of 8, available in Maple or Assorted flavors. The Maple flavor contains no tree nuts, and is made with local maple sugar from Zawalick’s Sugar House in Northampton. The assorted package contains Almond, Hazelnut, Maple and Chocolate macaroons.
