Product Highlight: Farmstead at Mine Brook Cheeses

We are pleased to be carrying these fine cheeses. The Farmstead at Mine Brook in Charlemont, MA is home to both Jersey Maid and Goat Rising cheese operations. They are unique in the fact that they keep both dairy cows and goats, and make delicious cheeses from both.

Goat Rising cheese is made with the milk of purebred Nubian goats. We are offering a traditional chevre as well as an herb garlic chevre. This soft, spreadable cheese is great for spreading on toast and sandwiches, and well as for use in dips, sauces and baking.
Jersey Maid Cheeses are made with pure Jersey milk. Jersey milk is renowned and praised for its high cream content. We are currently offering 4 Jersey Maid hard cheeses: Cheddar, Gruyere, Farmstead Aged and Reblochon, a creamy French style cheese similar to brie.
