Valley Green Feast
Local, Organic Food Delivered to your door
Valley Green Feast is a local, organic food delivery service. We offer residents of the Pioneer Valley an easy way to eat healthy, local, natural organic food and support local farms. Our produce comes direct from the farm and is therefore fresher than produce at the grocery store. With the rising costs of gas and food, unsustainable conventional
farming practices, and our busy lifestyles, Valley Green Feast will allow you to make choices that are comfortable to you and good for the environment by receiving home grocery delivery of natural, organic food. It is probably the healthiest way for you to do your grocery shopping online.
Our goals are to create a more sustainable community and to help people to live more healthfully. We strive to offer as much organic produce as possible and choose meats that are naturally raised without hormones. For the many people in the Pioneer Valley who did not sign up in time to get a CSA share, we provide the same product with less effort on your part. Valley Green Feast delivers fresh, local produce, meat, fish, and dairy right to your door on a weekly basis.

★A Study shows that food delivery significantly lowers your food miles and therefore your carbon footprint.
The average distance that Americans’ food travels to reach their plates is 1,500 miles, bringing with it environmental costs from emissions and fuel consumption. As global climate change becomes increasingly apparent, the hidden costs of the food we eat appear more dire. As a community, we can significantly decrease our carbon footprint by buying more local foods, rather than buying foods that have been driven across the country.
Additionally, choosing organic foods that do not use chemical pesticides and fertilizers further decreases our carbon use, and also significantly lowers the land and water pollution caused by the food that we eat. By supporting local, organic farmers, we are supporting their farming practices and helping to preserve open land.
When we buy locally, we invest our money right back into our community. We support our local economy and the farmers that work so hard to feed us.
